Our own skilled and experienced crews do all of the carpentry work on our homes. This ensures that all carpentry work meets the highest standards. We also work with an established network of high quality material suppliers and subcontractors for all the other necessary components of home construction.

John Shively, President John Shively, President, has over 30 years of experience building homes. He started in the custom home market because each home is unique. "The design and finish possibilities are endless. It's much more challenging than completing the same design over and over. Kate Shively, Secretary/Treasurer Kate's the one who signs the paychecks! She handles most of the accounting duties, human resources, and customer billings. |

David Thiemann, Estimator/Project Manager David joined our staff in 1989 as a carpenter and shortly after took over the estimating duties from John. Dave works closely with the homeowner, our field staff, subcontractors, and material suppliers. His many years of experience in estimating and budgeting are instrumental in making the construction process go smoothly. |

Kris Mc Afee, Office Manager Kris joined Shively Construction in 1997 and is probably one of the first contacts with our company. She answers the phone, helps with accounting, billings and job costing. |
